A legendary figure in modern perfumery, Maurice Roucel began his career in the Chanel laboratory before rising to prominence at IFF and later Symrise. Self-taught and fiercely creative, he is known for “warm, opulent compositions with emotional depth and bold contrasts.” His signature materials include musk, white flowers, and amber—elements he wields with masterful restraint.
